Starting with Sophie Théallet

The beginning.

And what better place to start than this week's prestigious CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner, Sophie Théallet.

French born Théallet describes her style as 'bohemian luxe' which can perhaps be attributed to her upbringing in the beautiful southern French mountain town of Bagnères-de Bigorre. Or perhaps it can be attributed to her love of fashion history. But then of course there's her impressive travelling experience....

Whatever the main influence behind her style may be, they ooze out of Théallet's designs, with their soft, touchable fabrics and beautiful, feminine cuts. You know when you find that one perfume that was made for you? Well, that's how I feel about Théallet's Spring/Summer 2010 Collection.
The warm, African inspired colours and flowing shapes are delectable and feature the perfect combination of comfortable and sumptious. It's the right side of hippy, mixed with a bit of chic and is just about everything I love in a clothing line.

I advise you to get familiar with Sophie Théallet as she truely is one to watch out for and is already popular with the ever fashionable and lovely Michelle Obama. If you haven't done so yet, take a look at Théallet's website: http://www.sophietheallet.com.
