I just wish I'd been born in the 70's.
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy being 24, but when I ponder the things that have influenced me, my era of choice is very clear. Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, Led Zeppelin and Blondie are all firm favourities in my music collection, Almost Famous is the only DVD I actually own (although not strictly 70's) and I look to Bianca Jagger and Stveie Nicks as style gurus. I'm also a bit of a hippy at heart and love a few hair plaits, headbands and flowers.Reiss have appealed to me htis season with their 1971 range. The collection features 70's inspired pieces such as edgy rock t-shirts, denim mini skirts, navel plunging bodies, high waisted jeans and fringed leather jackets.
The line is a little bit cheaper than Reiss's mainline collection which is good news for everyone! Here are some of my favourites from the collection.
